At Kavanagh Lawyers it is business as usual.
We are actively monitoring the advice by Government and Health authorities on Coronavirus COVID-19. We are focused on ensuring the health and wellbeing of our staff and clients.
We have the capacity to manage your matter remotely and assure you that our team is contactable via email and telephone.
We would like to assure you that we will continue to provide the service required for your matter.
Should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We have noticed a marked increase in requests for Binding Financial Agreements (“BFAs”). In many ways that is no surprise given the very uncertain times we are living in. BFAs provide you with the satisfaction of knowing how your assets and liabilities will be dealt with in the event of separation and having a BFA generally means no lawyers or court if you separate. However, BFAs are not for everyone.
If you are considering a BFA or would like to know more about your options, please contact us on 6557 5888 to arrange an initial appointment. We are offering both telephone and Skype appointments in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Kavanagh Family Lawyers have a wealth of experience in all aspects of the law in relation to families. When a relationship breaks down, we can provide advice on parenting arrangements and how the separation may affect your future contact with your children.
Kavanagh Family Lawyers are fortunate to have many same sex clients and are highly experienced in dealing with the particular challenges that same-sex couples face with regard to family law, and legal recognition of their relationships.

Violence Restraining Orders
